Common questions

3CX pricing FAQ

A line is a simultaneous call, not a staff member. Endless 4 means four people can be on the phone at the same moment; it does not cap how many extensions or handsets you have. This is why 3CX usually works out cheaper than per-user systems — most businesses have far more staff than concurrent calls.

Count the most people you have ever had on the phone at once, then add a little headroom. For most small offices that is two to four. Reception-heavy businesses and anything with a queue need more. We will look at your current call records rather than guess.

The minimum set-up fee is $495.95 ex GST. It covers building your call flow, configuring the system, provisioning handsets and coordinating the number port. Depending on your location and what is involved, a price on application may be required instead.

Only if you need what is in it. Standard covers a normal office phone system. Professional adds call queues, call reports, call recording and the contact centre. Enterprise adds call recording control, inbuilt failover and a standby licence — worth it where the phones cannot go down. The tables above set out the differences line by line.
