Fibre Enterprise Ethernet (TC2) gives you reliable, business grade connectivity backed by our SLAs to keep your business online. It suits high-definition video conferencing, cloud-based services and IP telephony — the things that suffer first on an ordinary connection.

TC2 also runs at low latency to minimise call delays, with low jitter and packet loss, so you get the clearest connection available. It is the highest speed tier we offer for apps, VoIP and video conferencing.

The connection is delivered by a technician as a full installation with an NTU, including up to a maximum of 50m of on-site cabling. Hand-off is to an Ethernet port on the NTU. Any routing requirement past that point is the client’s responsibility — if you want us to handle it, we can, but it is quoted separately rather than assumed.

The delivery target is 25 to 35 business days from order submission. That target can still be affected by embargo periods, which are outside our control — we will tell you if your address is in one before you order rather than after.

Anything that suffers when latency, jitter or upload speed are poor. In practice that means high definition video conferencing, IP telephony and VoIP, cloud based services and hosted applications, and any workload where staff are uploading as much as they download. If your team mostly browses and reads email, a standard business service will serve you just as well and we will say so.

TC2 is a different traffic class, not a faster tier of the same product. It carries a business SLA, symmetrical bandwidth and low latency targets, where standard nbn® is best-effort and asymmetric. It is available across both FTTN and FTTP areas with a 50 to 1000Mbps symmetrical offering, depending on what serves your address.

A /30 subnet is standard on every plan, which gives you two usable IP addresses. Fibre EE 1000 includes a static IP address as part of the plan. If you need a larger block for hosted services or site-to-site VPNs, tell us at the design stage and we will size it properly.
